The Carolina Baseball Club, Inc. (“CBC”) is an all-volunteer organization based in Chapel Hill, NC. Incorporated in 2009, our mission is to support competitive youth baseball. We are a recognized 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation by the IRS and the State of North Carolina. We manage our organization on the core belief that athletic competition should demonstrate a high standard of ethics and sportsmanship and promote the development of good character and other important life skills. We expect our coaches, administrators, parents and players to abide by this core belief.
During the 2011-2012 season, the CBC will proudly field the following competitive teams: 7U, 9U, 10U, 11U BLUE, 11U WHITE, 12U, 13U BLUE and 13U WHITE, all under the Blue Sox team name. Age eligibility for each team is determined by a player's age on April 30, 2012, as shown below:

Tryouts for the Blue Sox teams are normally held every year in late Summer / early Fall. (See the News/Events and Calendar sections of our website for dates and times). There may be select openings on a team that are not filled during the regular tryouts and you are encouraged to contact the coach of the team if tryouts have already occurred. During the year we host clinics and other baseball related activities to support the development of youth baseball in our community. We encourage you to visit the News/Events and Calendar sections of our website to learn more about these activities.
